Written by ORACLE TEAM – Here is the official first day video from Team Oracle - The initial commissioning and testing process started last Thursday (see Thursday post called ‘SPLASHED’) with the boat displaying an early demonstration of its performance potential. After two hours, the session was stopped due to a daggerboard failure in the starboard hull. Boat and crew returned safely to the team’s Pier 80 base. The team is now assessing its options to resume testing as soon as possible.
