EXTREME SAILING SERIES – Viewers worldwide can tune into the January edition of CNN’s monthly sailing show, MainSail to watch exclusive footage from the final Act of the 2012 Extreme Sailing Series, brought to you from Rio de Janeiro, host city of the 2016 Olympic Games.

Broadcast to over 200 million households in over 200 countries, double Olympic gold medallist Shirley Robertson presents exclusive interviews with the 2012 winning skipper Leigh McMillan and Brazil’s most successful Olympic athlete ever, five-times Olympic medallist Torben Grael. Grael made his multihull debut at the Extreme Sailing Series in Rio at the helm of Team Brasil as the nine Extreme 40s went head to head on the designated Olympic waters.
