It is of the the 59th annual High Sierra Regatta was held last weekend on Lake Huntington in California with the addition of a 14 boat strong Weta fleet. Relaxed family sailing was on order, there were water fights, Dads sailed with their kids, Husbands and wives sailed (although some did sail in separate boats).
The west coast distributor Dave Bernsten got this great note from new Weta sailor David and his daughter Erica – “Erica and I had a blast sailing on Huntington Lake today. Winds were not strong enough to be scary, but there were whitecaps at intervals and we were flying. We got the Weta rigged without problem, which is a tribute to your demonstrations.
And Erica is talking about changing from volleyball to the Sailing team now, and wants us to be a strong presence at the Weta racing events. Thanks for everything, I don’t think that I have ever purchased anything that came with the support and comraderie that accompanied this Weta sale.”
