SPINDRIFT RACING – Yann Guichard and his crew crossed the finish line off Dùn Laoghaire in second place, today Thursday September 6th at 00 hour, 19 minutes and 40 seconds (local time), 31 seconds after Foncia. Their sailing times from Kiel to Dublin is 3 days, 10 hours, 49 minutes and 40 seconds at the average speed of 14,8 knots. After leading almost the entire race Foncia hung in there to catch Spindrift at the finish.
